Macaroni and Cheese Disaster Averted

We received the following postcard in the mail:

The directions on the box in the cupboard had 5 minutes for step 2.

Wow. Imagine if we had been out of clean pots and had to use the microwave directions. What a disaster that could have been! Thanks, Danny.

I’m guessing that Wegmans’ profit margin for macaroni and cheese this month was pretty much eaten up in postage.

How often do you eat Wegman’s macaroni and cheese?

Open flattery and nosy questions aside, the whole thing is ridiculously amazing.

Shannon, I think we have to assume that he eats a lot of this stuff if he is on their Mac-n-cheese mailing list.

While our family’s blind taste test indicated that Wegmans has the best macaroni and cheese, I must confess that we don’t enjoy it at the dinner table very often. The primary deterrent is that my wife, in addition to be extraordinarily beautful, is a magnificent cook. She can do things with pasta and dairy products that make instant macaroni and cheese request a transfer to a different food pyramid.

Hm, that’s very sweet but it only gives Shannon an edge, as she persists in her delusion that she is the Smart One.

I also must confess that I purchased 2-3 boxes in as many weeks as convenience food for children that don’t appreciate steak and salad, etc.

    Big Wegmans is watching you.

You’re right Tara, it was very sweet of him.

A word of advice, though, Tara: stop reaching for the moon. Be thankful for what you have while you have it!
